The White Lion pub in Toft Monks near to Beccles is often called “The Toft Lion†and has been serving the local community since the beginning of the 18th century at least. We serve a range of Adnams beers as well as guest ales and Elgood's Black Dog. We are a pub that does food rather than a restaurant so

Menu
We provide a seasonal menu using locally sourced produce. The menu changes regularly so please give us a call if you want to find out what is on beforehand.
The lunchtime menu includes soup (£3.00), freshly cut sandwiches(£3.95) and ploughman´s (£4.95).
Thursday night is pie night with a selection of homemade pies served with seaonal vegetables (£6.95). The menu on Friday and Saturday nights includes such things as liver and bacon casserole, mixed vegetable cannelloni, smoked fish cakes and meat loaf. All these from £6.95.
We always have ice cream for dessert (£1.50 a scoop) supplied by Lakenham Creamery and sometimes there are specials which have included apple crumble, bread and butter pudding and streuselkuchen (£3.00).
